Strategic Leadership

  • Set and execute a clear strategic vision to stabilize and rebuild the business under constrained financial conditions.
  • Identify core revenue drivers and eliminate unprofitable business lines or activities.
  • Lead crisis management planning and adapt strategy to changing market realities (e.g., post-COVID behavior, tourism trends, etc.).

Financial Discipline

  • Manage budgets with strict cost control; drive cash flow optimization and capital efficiency.
  • Oversee fundraising strategy (if applicable), including bootstrapping, strategic partnerships, and potential investor relations.
  • Implement lean operating principles across the organization.

Operational Excellence

  • Improve unit economics, streamline operations, and renegotiate supplier/partner contracts to reduce fixed and variable costs.
  • Oversee product and technology teams to ensure platform efficiency with minimal spending.
  • Align product-market fit with core demand segments (e.g., domestic tourism, long-term rentals, B2B partnerships).

Team Leadership

  • Inspire and retain a small, agile team with a shared sense of mission and urgency.
  • Promote a culture of ownership, transparency, and frugality.
  • Restructure or reskill internal teams to match evolving company priorities.

Customer & Market Focus

  • Lead customer retention and acquisition efforts on a limited marketing budget.
  • Use data-driven decision-making to identify key segments and double down on profitable channels. 
  • Oversee communication strategies to rebuild trust and visibility in a competitive car rental market.

Qualifications:

  • 7-12 years total experience, ideally with 35 years in senior leadership roles (e.g., Head of Operations, Business Development Director, or COO). in a startup or turnaround setting.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing P&L in low-resource environments.
  • Has worked at a startup or mid-sized company, especially in leading digital platform businesses (mobility, travel, e-commerce, etc.).
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams with limited resources.
  • Excellent communication skills in both Thai and English.
