Network Security

Job Overview: We seek a motivated and detail-oriented Network/Security Engineer to join our IT team. This role involves supporting the design, implementation, and maintenance of our network and security infrastructure. The ideal candidate will assist in safeguarding our network and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems.

Role and Responsibility:

Assist in the configuration and installation of network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls).

Support network troubleshooting and resolve connectivity issues.

Monitor network performance and ensure optimal operation.

Help implement and manage security measures to protect network integrity.

Support the maintenance and updating of network and security devices.

Assist in responding to security incidents and breaches.

Helped conduct initial analysis and report security events.

Work with senior staff to implement corrective actions.

Stay informed about the latest industry trends and security threats.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Basic understanding of network hardware, protocols, telephony, and CCTV.

Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Linux) and network security principles.

Knowledge of security tools and technologies.

Ability to work well in a team environment.

Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and challenges.

Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, CCNA, or equivalent.

Internship or hands-on experience in network/security roles.

Working Conditions:

Full-time in-office position with standard business hours.

Able to work outside of regular working hours.
