Job Summary

The General Manager will oversee and lead all operations of the Company, ensuring efficiency, effectiveness, and alignment with organizational goals. This role entails driving strategic planning for sustainable growth, achieving operational excellence.

Job Description

  • Overall: Develop and implement strategic plans and goals for each function, aligned with the organization's overall objectives; Ensure that these functions contribute to the organization's success and growth.
  • Business: Support, collaborate and align with the Business Department to ensure strategic alignment and operational excellence.
  • Administrative Management: Oversee administrative processes, including facilities management, office services, procurement, and vendor management; Ensure efficient and cost-effective administration operations to support the organization's needs.
  • Human Resources Management: Lead the human resources function, including recruitment, talent management, employee relations, performance management, and employee development; Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to attract, retain, and motivate a high-performing workforce.
  • Audit and Compliance: Collaborate the audit function to ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies; Coordinate with auditors and stakeholders to address audit findings and implement appropriate controls.
  • IT Systems Management: Oversee IT systems, infrastructure, and technology initiatives. Ensure the availability, security, and effectiveness of IT systems to support organizational operations; Collaborate & support to IT teams to implement technology solutions aligned with business needs.
  • Financial Operations: Collaborate and provide related advice and ensure to compliance and effective internal controls.
  • Quality & Safety: Oversee the implementation of robust quality assurance protocols to uphold high standards across all operations; Ensure compliance with both local and international safety regulations, fostering a culture of safety throughout the organization; Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to proactively identify and address potential safety and quality concerns.
  • Supply Chain Department: Oversee the Supply Chain Department, ensuring seamless procurement and warehouse operations; Approving procurement strategies to achieve cost-effectiveness and timely material delivery, building strong supplier relationships, and negotiating favorable contracts; Overseeing inventory management to avoid shortages or overstock, while ensuring warehouse operations adhere to safety and efficiency standards to meet project demands effectively.
  • Government Relations: Oversee and manage government relations to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and foster positive relationships with government agencies; Representing the organization in official interactions, monitoring regulatory changes, obtaining necessary permits and approvals, and advocating for company interests while resolving regulatory issues to support seamless business operations.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, department heads, etc.; Collaborate with stakeholders to address their needs and provide support in respective areas.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements, and standardization across functions; Implement best practices and initiatives to increase operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Risk Management: Assess and mitigate risks related to all operation functions; Implement risk management frameworks and controls to minimize
    operational and compliance risks.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Provide leadership and guidance to the teams within each function. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promote professional development, and mentor team members to enhance their skills and performance.

Job Requirements

  • Fluency in English, Thai and Chinese Language.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering or relevant diploma or certification.
  • Over 12-years experience in management roles, including overseeing multiple functions in related field and strong Government liaison skills 
  • Strong knowledge of relevant management principles.
  • In-depth understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of strategic planning, budget management, and resource allocation.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements, streamline operations, and implement best practices.
