About the job Head of Telesales
Key Responsibilities:
Objective:
- Oversee daily operations of the telemarketing team to achieve sales KPIs in alignment with company objectives and strategies.
- Manage sales and support teams to ensure targets and quality standards are met.
- Drive the telemarketing team to meet key performance indicators such as approval rates, average order value, delivery rates, and revenue targets.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procedures and policies to ensure sales targets are met.
- Set KPIs for the team to achieve goals.
- Create effective call scripts and sales promotions to attract customers.
- Analyze sales data to improve processes, allocate resources efficiently, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Monitor random calls to ensure quality, minimize errors, and track performance.
- Ensure all communications and data are accurately recorded and updated.
- Review staff performance, identify coaching needs, and plan coaching sessions.
- Handle complex customer complaints or inquiries.
- Support subordinates in resolving difficult issues and provide direction.
- Recommend staffing changes, including hiring, promotions, demotions, vacations, leaves of absence, and staff releases.
- Evaluate staff performance based on KPIs.
- Prepare daily sales reports.
- Motivate and retain staff.
- Manage leads and capacity to meet KPIs.
- Build and develop the sales team.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in telesales management with a team size of at least 100 members.
- Proficient in English communication.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Dynamic, professional demeanor with fast action capability.
- Strong leadership, motivation, and coaching skills.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Effective pressure and time management skills.
- Familiarity with a startup environment and good reporting skills are preferred.
