Job Summary:

We are looking for a Regional Finance Manager to join leading international manufacturing company in Thailand. The Regional Finance Manager will be responsible for the financial management of the region and will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing all financial activities of the region. This position requires a highly motivated and experienced individual who can work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures for the region.

• Monitor and analyze financial performance to ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards.

• Prepare financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.

• Coordinate with other departments to ensure accuracy of financial reporting.

• Oversee and manage the regional financial activities, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and treasury.

• Monitor and analyze cash flow and investments.

• Develop and implement internal controls.

• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

• Manage external relationships with auditors, bankers, and other financial institutions.

• Provide financial advice and support to the regional management team.

Requirements:

  • Malaysian single candidate who is currently living in Thailand or Malaysia
  • Possess Accounting diploma, degree or equivalent qualification, preferably with qualified professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, MIA)
  • Possess minimum 5 years of work experience in managerial position with direct responsibility in financial reporting, operation and treasury function from retail or FMCG industry.
  • Hold membership of Malaysia Institute of Accountants
  • Able to converse and write in English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Strong leadership skills and highly analytical and has appreciation for details.
  • Able to meet tight deadlines.
  • Willing to travel to South East Asia countries frequently.
