Position: Delivery Manager Reporting To: BU Head/BU Practice Head
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performance Testing NFR Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive performance testing strategy and roadmap for various projects and applications.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of performance testers, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure the team's effectiveness and growth.
- Project Management: Plan, schedule, and manage performance testing projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Client Collaboration: Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand performance requirements, objectives, and expectations. Communicate project progress and results effectively.
- Test Planning: Define performance testing objectives, scope, and success criteria. Develop detailed test plans and test scripts.
- Test Execution: Oversee the execution of performance tests, including load testing, stress testing, and scalability testing. Analyse test results and identify performance bottlenecks.
- Performance Tuning: Work closely with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve performance issues. Recommend and implement optimizations to improve system performance.
- Tools and Technologies: Stay updated on the latest performance testing tools, methodologies, and best practices. Evaluate and recommend tools and technologies to enhance testing processes.
- Documentation: Create and maintain documentation related to performance testing processes, test results, and recommendations.
- Work seamlessly with sales and Presales teams to explore further opportunities with the clients and lead the conversations with COPs when needed.
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in performance testing and test management, with a minimum of 7+ years in a leadership role.
- Managed performance testing Project in CI CD environment
- Proficiency in performance testing tools such as JMeter, Gatling or similar.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies, SDLC, and agile practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms and virtualization technologies is advantageous.
