About the job VP of IT
- Develop and manage technological infrastructure, including organizational information systems, IT support, software applications, etc.
- Implement and maintain critical IT systems, including ensuring system security and disaster recovery systems are in place.
- Coordinate IT managers and other department personnel, managing and guiding employees and participating in hiring and termination processes.
- Develop IT policies to support departmental and organizational goals; motivate employees and oversee department initiatives.
- Build vendor relationships, purchase new technology, software, and equipment as needed, and manage budgets.
- Identify new technologies and opportunities to improve systems and processes.
