Position Overview:

As the Sales Manager - Contract Logistics, you will be responsible for driving sales initiatives, managing the sales team, and developing strategic partnerships to expand company's presence in the contract logistics sector. This role requires a dynamic individual with proven leadership skills, a deep understanding of logistics, and a passion for achieving business growth.

Apart from this , you will be overseeing 2-4 team members and actively supporting them to hunt for new businesses.

Responsibilities:

Sales Leadership:

-Lead and inspire a high-performance sales team focused on contract logistics.

-Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market share growth.

-Provide guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to the sales team.

Business Development:

-Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the contract logistics market.

-Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.

-Collaborate with the team to create tailored solutions that meet clients' logistics needs.

Market Analysis:

-Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.

-Conduct regular market analysis to identify opportunities and challenges in the contract logistics sector.

Proposal Development:

-Work closely with the sales team to create compelling proposals and presentations.

-Participate in contract negotiations, ensuring terms are favorable and aligned with business objectives.

Team Collaboration:

-Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, customer service, and finance, to ensure seamless service delivery.

-Foster a collaborative and positive team environment.

Qualifications:

-Proven experience in sales management within the contract logistics industry.

-In-depth knowledge of contract logistics, warehousing, and distribution.

-Strong leadership and team management skills.

-Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

-Strategic thinking and ability to align sales objectives with overall business goals.

-Bachelors degree in business, logistics, or a related field is preferred.
