About the job Purchase Officer

Job PurposeLead the procurement process for setting up green field projects which includes civil, structural, piping, equipment etc. and implement a strategic Capex procurement plan aligned with the organization's objectives.


Key Accountabilities - 

  1. Procurement
  2. Ensure Quality and adequate availability of Raw materials
  3. Cost Effectiveness to ensure most competitive price for inputs to keep procurement within budget
  4. Rate contract in order to get the best bargain the prospective vendor is given and annual contract
  5. Inward Logistics All the inputs like Raw Material, Packing material, General stores & Import by Road, Air & Ocean etc., which are brought to site
  6. Vendor Management. Monitoring performance of existing vendors and developing new vendors for best selection of suitable vendors.
  7. Safeguard Company Interest in Commercial clause / Corporate Norms by developing norms and ensure adherence to them
  8. Ensure internal customer satisfaction
  9. Strategic future planing for procurement
  10. (IMS) Integrated Management Systems implementation for smooth department working and to ensure internal customer satisfaction. Ensure internal customer satisfaction
