Job Description:

We are looking for a Business Analyst, He/she will play a critical role in the implementation of a new core insurance system by gathering and documenting business requirements, analyzing processes, and ensuring the solution meets business needs. This role requires a deep understanding of the insurance industry, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Key Responsibilities:

Requirement Gathering

- Work closely with business owners, stakeholders, and end-users to gather detailed business requirements.

- Conduct requirement workshops, interviews, and surveys to capture business needs.

- Document and prioritize business requirements and ensure they are aligned with the project goals.

Business Process Analysis

- Analyze existing business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement.

- Develop process models and workflows to illustrate the current and future states.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to validate and refine process improvements.

Functional Specification Development

- Translate business requirements into functional specifications for the technical team.

- Ensure functional specifications are comprehensive, clear, and meet the business objectives.

- Work with developers to ensure they understand the requirements and provide necessary clarifications.

Solution Design and Validation

- Assist in the design of the new core insurance system to ensure it meets business requirements.

- Conduct gap analysis to identify discrepancies between business requirements and system capabilities.

- Participate in system validation and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the solution meets the needs of the business.

Stakeholder Communication

- Serve as a liaison between business users and the technical team.

- Facilitate communication and collaboration among stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding.

- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on the status of requirement gathering and analysis activities.

Documentation
- Create and maintain detailed documentation, including business requirements documents (BRDs), functional specifications, process maps, and user guides.
- Ensure all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible to relevant stakeholders.
Training and Support
- Develop and deliver training materials for end-users to ensure a smooth transition to the new system.
- Provide post-implementation support to address any issues and ensure the system is functioning as expected
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree or higher in Business Administration, Information Technology or other related fields.
- A minimum 2-3 years with Business Analyst or in a related role.
- Proficient in business analysis tools and software (e.g., Visio, JIRA, Confluence).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in requirement gathering techniques, process modeling, and documentation.
- Strong collaboration and team-working to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
- Proficiency in documentation in both Thai and English.
