Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Planning and Operational Setup:

- Utilize strong business acumen to conduct situational analysis and geographical targeting, aiding the Board of Directors in making timely and informed decisions.
- Establish infrastructure and complete all preliminary operations setup with guidance and support from Headquarters (HQ), including effective connections with external partners in various areas:

  • Products: Collaborate with factories for product development, registration, and compliance.
  • Logistics: Coordinate with third-party logistics providers for fulfillment and last-mile services.
  • Infrastructure: Work with telephone system and infrastructure companies to set up a call center.
  • Legal Matters: Engage with consultants and law firms to ensure business compliance with local laws.
  • Recruitment: Assist HQ with recruitment activities.
  • Conduct research related to local marketing, sales, online activities, customer, and competitor analysis.

2. Daily Business Management and Budget Control:

  • Oversee sales, revenue growth, profitability, and other quality targets, including product quality, distribution, and customer service satisfaction.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor operational plans within budget to achieve KPIs and business targets, ensuring alignment between the country team and regional processes and procedures.
  • Create and implement continuous improvement initiatives for all KPIs.
  • Maintain strong relationships with partners and agents, addressing issues to ensure smooth daily operations.

3. Reporting

  • Generate business performance and regulatory compliance reports for corporate HQ, providing daily, weekly, and monthly updates as required.
  • Produce additional reports to secure maximum market share and sustainable growth.

4. Employee Management:

  • Manage local team expectations, especially regarding rapid operational changes, by communicating needs, priorities, KPIs, and strategies from the Board of Directors.
  • Involved in staff selection, training, development, scheduling, and ongoing professional development.
  • Plan capacity and build the capability of country teams to achieve KPIs.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating a commitment to getting tasks done efficiently.

Qualifications:

Skills and Experience:

  • Expertise in sales, market penetration strategies, and manpower development.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Customer-centric mindset with strong leadership and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in both local language and English.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with a strong work ethic and adaptability.
  • Motivated self-starter with minimal supervision, capable of assembling and managing teams.
  • Versatile personality with good exposure to dynamic business conditions.

Education and Experience:

  • Strong background in sales, insurance, marketing, or operations.
    Bachelors or master's degree in any discipline.
  • Over 6 years of experience in team management, P&L calculation, and monitoring.
  • Experience in leading and managing various organizational functions (departments, divisions, operations, HR, finance, sales).
  • Experience in product sourcing, logistics, e-commerce, or operational setup is a plus.
