About the job MIS Manager
Job Responsibility
- Policy Planning: Collaborate with management to develop policies for effectively utilizing
- information technology within the organization.
- Support Management: Manage and oversee the department's support tasks to ensure they
- meet SLA requirements, while also educating users on efficient computer system usage.
- System Maintenance: Supervise internal equipment and system checks (MA) and ensure ERP
- system database backups are completed as per the set conditions and schedule.
- Contract and Maintenance Management: Review and manage hardware and software
- contracts and maintenance agreements (MA) to align with budget policies, maximizing the
- company's benefits.
- Team Development: Plan and oversee the development of subordinates to enhance their skills
- and knowledge, ensuring alignment with the department's IT processes and organizational goals.
- Software Compliance: Monitor and prevent the use of unlicensed software.
Qualification
- Approximate Age: 40 46 years old, Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Engineering,
- Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 7 years in MIS and a minimum of 5 years in an IT management role.
- Skills: Strong ability to manage and develop the organization's ERP system, particularly for sales
- and back-office functions (the company uses a custom ERP system developed in-house).
- Knowledge: In-depth understanding and decision-making ability, especially in IT policy, IT
- security, and IT risk management.
- Responsibilities: Overseeing IT development, IT services, and IT operations.
- Communication: Confident in presentations, proficient in English, and flexible with work hours, capable of handling issues that arise at night or on weekends.
(This position oversees 8 subordinates.)
Working Hours: Monday - Friday (08.30 - 18.00)
Working Location: Head Office at Soi Ladprao 101 (MRT Yellow Line)
