About the job Business Development Manager/Asst Manager B2B/B2C (Pharmaceutical Sector)
Lead B2B Business Operations: Manage day-to-day coordination and communication with B2B clients, ensuring efficient business support and delivering timely, client-centric solutions by coordinating with customer, HO Support team, Importer etc to expand business activities
Strategic Partnerships : Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and partners.
Achieve B2B Sales Targets: Secure purchase orders (POs) in a timely manner and work proactively toward achieving defined sales goals within the B2B segment.
Pharmacy Chain & Channel Development: Proactively identify and initiate discussions with pharmacy chains and key retail partners. Evaluate and explore strategic tie-ups or supply contracts to expand the product reach and improve brand visibility.
Lead Generation & Client Acquisition Finding the opportunity for B2B expansion and for B2C business how to collaborative with local companies to explore sales revenue with province/Hospital specific entry strategy as per each product need
Contract & Agreement Management: Ensure all necessary contracts and agreements related to B2B activities are properly executed and maintained while all import or new addition of customer for business
Regulatory & Documentation Support: Oversee regulatory coordination for any B2B client business support or internal business support to gather requirement documents to support Business expansion
Payment Process : As per Dispatch planning of Goods to B2B customer, Need to make sure about all payment on time as per agreed payment term in contract for smooth supply of goods from country
Importation Management: Liaise with both HO and HD to ensure a seamless and compliant importation process for B2B Business and if any support to B2C.
Job Specification
Education & Qualification:
- Bachelors degree or higher in Pharmacy, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Additional certifications in Sales Management, Business Development, or Regulatory Affairs are an advantage.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in business development, sales, tender management, or commercial operations.
- Proven track record in managing pharmaceutical tender processes, pricing strategies, and regulatory coordination.
- Experience in handling both B2B and B2C operations with cross-functional team coordination is much advantage
Language Proficiency:
- Strong command of English (spoken and written); IELTS certification or equivalent is preferred.
Skills Required
Technical & Functional Skills:
- In-depth understanding of pharmaceutical business operations, including:
- Tender processes, Price registration and regulation, CIF pricing strategy aligned with market selling prices, Data analysis and interpretation, Import -Export Documentation requirement, Importer coordination , Internation business terminology
Core Competencies:
- Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities across internal and external stakeholders.
- Sound knowledge of Commercial and regulatory frameworks in a pharma environment.
Managerial & Operational Skills:
- Team leadership and coordination across diverse roles (sales, regulatory, marketing).
- Time and resource management.
