Support Engineer Job Description
We are looking for an IT Support Engineer with experience in End User IT Support (maintenance and support for notebooks, desktops, networking, and peripherals).
Applicants should be able to communicate in English and have at least 3 years experience in IT Support.

Location - Positions available at Bangkok and/or Samut Prakan
Responsibilities:
1. End user support for desktop, laptop mobile devices and other devices.
2. Basic support for network, servers, and other site-specific IT devices.
3. Responsible for regular maintenance and support of desktop and end user environment.
4. Support printer and network related issues.
5. Image and build desktops and laptops.
6. Troubleshoot and repair software and hardware related problems.
7. Project working (installation, networks / cabling, machine staging etc).
8. Manage services requests and incidents.
9. Produce documents, diagrams and creating user guides for customers and IT systems.
10. Escalate issues to the next level and coordinate resolution with other team members.
11. Working with Ticketing system.
12. Reporting.
Qualifications:
Basic
1. Expertise in Windows 7/10/11, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
2. Expertise in common applications such as Office, Email, etc. on PCs and mobile devices including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
3. Diagnosing and resolving hardware issues (desktops, laptops, printers).
4. Ability to identify root cause of an issue related to user IT systems and applications.
5. Basic network configuration and troubleshooting, understanding of WAN, LAN, Wi-Fi, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
6. Basic support and troubleshooting for CCTV, PABX, NAS
7. Understanding of Server-Client systems, ability to troubleshoot and isolate issues.
8. Knowledge of basic IT security principles.
9. Knowledge of basic backup-restore principles.
10. Basic rack-mounting, cabling, and patching.
11. Experience working with Service Desk ticketing system.
Additional network (optional)
1. Experience configuring, managed switches, routers, firewalls, wireless devices
2. Configuring site to site VPNs and user to site VPNs
3. Working knowledge with devices from any vendors Cisco, FortiGate, TP-Link, UniFi
4. Experience configuring VLANs, multiple subnets, basic routing

1. More than 3 years past working experience supporting more than 30 users
2. Bachelors Degree (preferably in Computer Science, Electronics, or related field.)
3. Proactive, self-motivated, service mind, team player and able to work under pressure at times.
4. English and Thai communication skill is required.
5. Willingness to learn new things relating to IT.
6. Car or travel within Bangkok area or beyond
