Job Summary:

The Quality Assurance (QA) Manager will oversee the activity of the quality assurance department and staff, developing, implementing, and maintaining a system of quality and laboratory testing for the organization's products and/or development processes.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Hires and trains quality assurance staff.
  • Oversees the daily workflow and schedules of the department.
  • Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
  • Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Develops, implements, and manages processes to ensure that products meet required specifications for quality, function, and physical property prior to delivery.
  • Identifies and sets appropriate quality standards and parameters for products.
  • Communicates quality standards and parameters to related team.
  • Lead the routine process audit and product audit.
  • Lead the team for customer complaints/claim and internal quality issue analysis and drive the 8D report.
  • Participates in product/raw material testing.
  • Identifies and analyzes issues, defects, and other problems, particularly when problems recur in multiple products; recommends and facilitates solutions to these issues.
  • Develop the lab testing procedure.
  • Lead the team to maintain and improve all quality system.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in engineering or higher degree in Engineering Management.
  • 10 years of experience in related field required with supervisory experience a plus.
