Programmer

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Programs the computer by entering coded information.
• Coding of existing software on various hardware and provided programming technologies.
• Testing existing software as part of investigations on various hardware and programming technologies.
• Refining of programs in the final stages of software program development.
• Formatting software programs in the final stages of software development.
• Confirms project requirements by reviewing program objective, input data, and output requirements with analyst, supervisor, and client.
• Rewriting of programming codes so as to meet specifications and requirements of clients.
• Keeping up to date with requirements and standards of programming as set by software development authorities.
• Investigation on errors in software programs as reported by clients.
• Suggesting and introduction of modifications in software programs in accordance with specifications given.
• Development and implementation of testing models.
• Confirms program operation by conducting tests; modifying program sequence and/or codes.
• Documentation of results of tests on software programs.
• Maintenance of software programs sold to clients.
• Encodes project requirements by converting work flow information into computer language.
• Prepares reference for users by writing operating instructions.
• Maintains historical records by documenting program development and revisions.
• Maintains client confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Continuously updating the Seniors & Management of project status, issues and problems, customer comments & feed backs.
• Protecting the intellectual property (IP) of the company & protection of customer and company information.
• Hands on with C/SIDE Development/C-AL (Creating and Editing NAV Report, Debugging technical errors)
• Experience of Business Central and Navision programming/ customization/report development and modification of business logic.
• Have been involved in at least 3 end to end implementation in Navision and/or business central.
• Experience with analyzing complex issues and delivering appropriate solutions.
• Experience in developing extension using AL language will be added advantage.
• Strong understanding of the SDLC.
• Knowledge about business central will be an added advantage.
• Should have experience of Navision programming/ customization/report development and modification
• Candidate certified in Microsoft Dynamics NAV will be added advantage
