Senior HR Officer
About the job Senior HR Officer
Looking for a Senior HR Officer/ Assistant HR Manager for an international mining service company.
Job Location: Thai Dong Sub-district, Wang Pong District, Phetchabun Provine (4 weeks on and 2 weeks of work arrangement)
Key Responsibilities
Human Resources
- Manage recruitment process including vacancy advertisement, interviews, pre-employment and onboarding.
- Ensure recruitment, onboarding and client policies are followed accordingly.
- Work with senior management to review and forecast personnel recruitment.
- Prepare employment contracts and maintain employee records.
- Responsible to managing HR Systems including WebHR, Dropbox and People Tray (includes rostering) for the team.
- Establish basic administrative and office management procedures, supported by the company's head office HR team.
- Responsible for payroll, PIT, SSO and roster recording (roster set by Site Managers).
- Manage systems for electronic and non-electronic document filing and record keeping.
- Prepare HR monthly reports for internal and external use.
- HR Policy review and updates.
- Responsible for employment contracts review, extend, register at Labor office (if required).
- Ensure HR policy compliance with Thai labour law.
- Liaise between Clients on HR-related contract - compliance related issues.
- Collect data to create remuneration strategy.
- Salary benchmarking and pay scale and remuneration packages / strategy
- Manage medical & life Insurance coverage for Locals & Expats.
- Responsible for ensuring all staff receive initial and refresher training on the company's policies and procedures.
- Provide in-house training that related with HR function to team.
- Handle performance management system including KPI, goal setting and performance improvement, regular catch up with all departments.
- Operate performance management process for all staff.
- Manage initiatives for development of One Team culture.
- Implement staff engagement activities and improving employee (digital) branding to attract candidates.
- Responsible for fostering a shared culture which promotes open communication and continuous improvement.
Administration
- Coordinate all employee, visitor and subcontractor travel and accommodation arrangements, including Rest and Recreation (R&R) flights.
- Understand, manage and apply compliance with the Rostering Guidelines, Leave Entitlements Procedures.
- Manage the Maintenance Administrator to ensure accuracy of reporting and use of Asset-Tray system
- Liaise with management team to rectify any roster, leave or termination discrepancies.
- Record daily pre-start sign on/sign off timesheets and leave requests.
- Assist with payroll queries from wages employees.
- Ensure all data entered into Site Diary is accurate, approved and meets relevant deadlines.
- Assist the HSE team in maintaining all necessary safety requirements on site where required.
- Assist with the data entry of HSE and Contracts Administration requirements where required.
- Coordinate mail and courier package distribution, photocopying, opening mail and alerting team members of urgent or important matters.
- Assist with meeting minute taking for project meetings as requested.
- Attend to general incoming queries, directing them to relevant staff members where necessary.
Requirement - Minimum 5-years working experience in HR functions and HR Administration role (essential)
- Prior experience with a natural resources or international company (preferable)
- English and Thai language skills at high level of proficiency (written and spoken)
- Excellent communication skills

- Bachelors Degree
