PURPOSE

Lead the Organisation design function and drive and support Talent Management process across all Business units with the client. Provide HR advisory services for Business Units in setting up new ventures. Guide and advice Human Resources Manager of the client. 

Relocation to Sri Lanka. 

Key Responsibilities : 

  • Lead Project Emergent (Organisation Design) across the client ensuring it is implemented within the stipulated time frame and cost. 

This will include performing activities such as:

  • Dealing/ coordinating with the consultants
  • Dealing/ coordinating with business units/divisions including stakeholders at all levels
  • Guiding and managing the central project team as well as divisional teams through respective business leads
  • Periodic update to the board
  • Change management
  • Strategizing and implementing communication plan
  • Setting up org design team at cluster levels
  • Developing a monitoring process to ensure the process is followed at all time
  • Liaise with strategy 2025 & talent2o
  • Advice business units on key talent matrix grid, develop action plans, identifying potential roles, and help in finding resource person for future development to ensure that the required talent is available for smooth running of performance measures in the business.
  • Provide advice in setting up new ventures/business units. 


This will include performing tasks such as:

  • Advice & support in formulating a structure.
  • Assisting in finding the needed resources.
  • Guiding in conducting due diligence.
  • Liaising with respective authorities regarding the regulations.
  • Advising on developing a pay structure.
  • Guide and ensure that the HR systems are in place and monitored properly and maintain the organisational design and structure to ensure that the systems are robust and meets specific SBU requirements.
  • Oversee and manage HR services for the client offices at all locations to maintain consistency and standards across the organization.
  • Visit plants and provide advisory services. Assist in sharing best practices and driving new initiatives such as lean practices, etc. to provide corporate support towards the initiatives and operations.

Requirements :

  • Degree in Human resources, Business Management, psychology.
  • Professional qualification in management or management accounting
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in in organizational design, change management, or a related role.
  • Strong understanding of organizational theory, structure, and processes Hands on experience in organization design, job evaluations and Job descriptions
  • Willing to relocate permanently to Sri Lanka (Colombo)
