Job Description
Objective:
To promote and increase awareness, availability, and sales of Over-The-Counter (OTC) healthcare products by engaging with pharmacies, clinics, and healthcare retail outlets across assigned territories in Thailand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Promotion & Sales
- Promote Company's OTC product portfolio to pharmacists, pharmacy chains, clinics and health stores
- Demonstrate strong product knowledge to educate and influence purchasing decisions.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets as defined.
- Customer Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with retail pharmacy staff and store managers.
- Act as the key contact point for assigned accounts.
- Conduct in-store promotions or merchandising activities as required.
- Market Coverage & Expansion
- Ensure regular visits to assigned outlets across the territory.
- Identify new business opportunities and increase product availability in uncovered areas.
- Monitor competitor activities and provide feedback to the marketing and sales team.
- Reporting & Documentation
- Submit daily call reports, route plans, and performance updates to RSM/NSM.
- Maintain updated records of client interactions and stock availability.
- Collect market insights and relay to head office for strategic planning.
- Brand Visibility & POS Materials
- Ensure effective placement and visibility of OTC promotional materials.
- Coordinate with distributors for timely supply and availability.
- Training & Compliance
- Attend regular training programs and team meetings.
- Ensure all activities are conducted in compliance with company and regulatory guidelines.
Job Specification:
Education:
- Minimum Bachelors degree in Pharmacy, Science, or related field.
- Additional marketing/sales training is an advantage.
Experience:
- Minimum 2 to 4 years in sales or pharmacy-related OTC product promotion.
Skills:
- Strong communication in Thai (spoken & written); English proficiency is a plus.
- Basic computer proficiency (Excel, PowerPoint, Email).
- Good negotiation and persuasion skills.
- Territory and time management ability.
- Knowledge of local pharmacy channels and healthcare retail sector.
Personality Traits:
- Energetic, self-motivated, and goal-oriented.
- Polite, persuasive, and professional demeanor.
- Willing to travel extensively within assigned region.
