Responsibility:

Our development team is responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining our systems, as well as building proprietary software for our clients.

The individual will play a role in building new applications or enhancing/improving our existing applications.

Job Description:

  • Perform software development based on project requirements.
  • Study and understand and perform analysis on user requirements based on system requirements specifications or discussion with team members and end users.
  • Perform program testing (unit testing, performance test, system integration test and regression test) with project team members and ensure software qualities are met.
  • Prepare and maintain project document like Technical Manual, User Manual, Installation Guide, etc.
  • Participate in technical discussion/brainstorming session with project team/vendors.
  • Perform software testing (unit testing, performance test, system integration test) with team members and ensure software qualities are met.
  • Providing solutions to problems/issue to project team and customers.
  • Attend to remedy cases and provide onsite/offsite system support and perform troubleshooting and technical consultation to users.
  • Perform software packaging, deployment, installation, and configuration.

Job Requirements:

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance IBM AS4OO / iseries custom applications using AS4OO CLP, RPG and RPGLE.
  • Experience working in an IBM AS4OO / iseries environment.
  • At least 3-years experience working with DSPF, PRTF, CLP, RPG, RPGLE Programming Language.
  • Familiar with basic AS4OO commands.
  • Familiar with AS4OO programs debugging process.
  • Basic knowledge in SQL is required.
  • Knowledge in AS4OO WebService & web program setup is an advantage.
  • Able to study and understand existing system/program flow from source code with minimal guidance and training.
  • Analyses, reviews, and alters program to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements. Prepares documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, and corrections.
  • Experience in hire purchase and term loan system is a plus.
  • Willing to travel and work independently.
