Finance And Accounting Manager (Contract)

We are looking for a Finance and Accounting Manager to work with our client - a high growth FinTech company. You will support the Finance and Accounting department tasks and you will be responsible for project accounting, forecasting, cash flow management, and management reporting. You will also support the accounting team with months closing process for some project accounting related tasks.

Role & Responsibilities:

Financial Accounts

• Manage accounting and finance activities to ensure compliance of accounting standards
• Perform Project Accounting processes during month-end such as cost allocation to projects, revenue accruals, and intercompany accruals
• Coordinate with external accounting consultants to ensure accurate accounts for all entities
• Perform Group Consolidation of financial reports and update monthly financial dashboard
• Review reconciliations of Balance Sheet accounts
• Manage and liaise with external auditors and tax
• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department

Budgeting/Forecasting

• Assist the VP Finance and Accounting with the annual budget process.
• Prepare the short-term cash flow forecast.
• Prepare the short-term revenues forecast.

We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

• Bachelor or higher Degree in Accounting, CPA preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in accounting and finance is required.
• Big4 experience is a plus.
• Experience in project-related accounting is preferred.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and summarizing financial results is preferred.
• Capacity to think outside the box, innovate, and improve.
• High-level of energy, willingness to learn and positive attitude.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize.
• Software industry background is preferred.
• Good command in English
