Delivery Director
About the job Delivery Director
Salary: Up to $8000 Gross
Location: Hanoi
Job Overview:
As a leader of the delivery team, you will be responsible for:
- Managing complex, multi-level relationships with various project teams.
- Possessing either a solid understanding of Retail and Corporate Loan Origination processes, or post-approval processes involving Collateral and Limits Management.
- Alternatively, having technical expertise in the Java platform, including Spring, Hibernate, Spring Boot, and Microservice architecture on OpenShift or Kubernetes.
- Leading and participating in technical and solution discussions with project teams.
- Guiding delivery teams to meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and maintain high customer satisfaction.
- Overseeing the development and deployment of projects, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
- Providing timely and accurate reports on project and production progress.
- Escalating major incidents to the Singapore office and coordinating recovery efforts.
- Staying hands-on and up-to-date with all project and production activities.
- Ensuring that delivery/production issues are resolved promptly and properly closed.
- Ensuring compliance with delivery and production processes, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintaining a comprehensive repository for deliverables, methodologies, and support documentation.
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- PMP certification.
- At least 10 years of proven experience in the banking sector, particularly in Credit Risk Processes or Post-Approval Processes involving Collateral & Limits Management.
- A minimum of 5 years in a project management role, leading teams of 10+ members in banking projects.
- Strong knowledge of Java, J2EE, and object-oriented technologies, with experience managing large teams (80+ members).
- Demonstrated leadership experience and successful end-to-end project management.
- Ability to manage time, cost, and quality effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong customer relationship management skills and the ability to work with IT and Business users at all levels.
- Proven leadership and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Experience working with cross-cultural, geographically dispersed teams (onsite-offsite).
- Willingness to travel and work in regional countries.
