Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Vice President of Human Resources to lead our HR function and drive our people strategy. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) based in Singapore, the VP of HR will play a pivotal role in shaping our HR policies, managing talent, and enhancing our organizational culture as we scale.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic HR Leadership: Develop and execute HR strategies that align with the company's growth objectives and operational needs. Ensure HR policies and programs support the company's business goals and culture.
  • Talent Acquisition and Management: Lead recruitment efforts to attract top talent, manage onboarding processes, and oversee performance management. Implement strategies for employee development and retention.
  • Hands-On HR Operations: Actively engage in daily HR activities, including addressing employee issues, implementing policies, and ensuring compliance with employment laws. Demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management, employees, and external partners. Serve as a strategic advisor on HR matters.
  • Organizational Culture: Promote and nurture the companys culture and values. Lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and overall workplace environment.
  • Regional Expertise: Leverage your knowledge of the APAC region to address region-specific HR challenges and opportunities. Customize HR strategies to meet diverse regional needs.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Provide regular reports and insights to the CFO and other senior leaders on HR metrics, workforce trends, and progress towards HR goals. Use data to drive decisions and improve HR practices.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Extensive experience in human resources management with a proven track record in both multinational corporations (MNCs) and startups. Expertise in HR strategy, talent management, and organizational development.
  • Hands-On Approach: Demonstrated ability to manage day-to-day HR operations with a hands-on, solution-oriented approach.
  • Stakeholder Management: Strong interpersonal skills with a history of effectively managing relationships with senior leadership, employees, and external partners.
  • Regional Knowledge: In-depth understanding of HR practices and employment regulations across the APAC region. Ability to navigate regional cultural and regulatory differences.
  • Growth Orientation: A forward-thinking mindset focused on driving growth and enhancing organizational effectiveness. Experience in scaling HR functions in a rapidly growing company is highly desirable.
  • Education: Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degrees or professional HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-SCP, CIPD) are advantageous.
  • Skills: Strong analytical skills, exceptional communication abilities, and excellent organizational skills.
