Data Center HVAC & CFD simulation Engineer

Level : L2 -L3 (senior to manager level)

Job Description 

Be responsible for data center HVAC system detail design, drawing and material submission
Take charge of onsite technical guidance and troubleshooting, pass the practical acceptance test,
including equipment functional test, HVAC system test, integration system test and PAC sign-off
Be responsible for the HVAC system construction fully comply with design
Be responsible for the project delivery with good quality and within timeline
Assist technical director and project manager manage the whole project
No subordinate only co-worker
Report to Project Director (Chinese)

Candidate Requirements

Bachelor degree or above in HVAC Engineering or related discipline
Have 5+ years experience in data center field, Have experience in HVAC system design in design
institutes, consulting companies, integrators, and equipment factories.
Large-scale data center (over 500 racks) HVAC system design or project management experiences are
highly appreciated
Those with overseas HVAC design experience are highly appreciated.
Strong communication, presentation, listening, and negotiation skills.
Good team work, good adversity quotient, adaptable to challenges and pressures
Open minded, good interpersonal skills with excellent communication skills in multi-culture
organizations
Willing to travel in Global, especially Asia-Pacific Region
Professional Knowledge
o Have a basic command of the design principles of the air conditioning water system, air
system, and smoke exhaust system.
o Have strong theoretical knowledge of heat transfer and air conditioning. Be able to
independently complete CFD simulation and solve related problems.
o Be able to design and draw HVAC systems.o Be familiar with the design standards of the HVAC systems.

o Certified HVAC Engineer and Uptime ATD/ATS qualification are preferred.
Professional certifications from third parties (optional)
o ATD（Accredited Tier Designer）by UPTIME Institute
o CDCP（Certified Data Centre Professional）by EPI.
o Chartered Engineer in HVAC
