Role Overview:

The Sales Support Specialist acts as a vital bridge between the sales team, customers, pricing, and operations departments. The role focuses on backend coordination preparing quotations, maintaining customer relationships, and ensuring smooth transition of confirmed business from sales to operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Quotation & Pricing Management
Receive and process customer enquiries (import/export shipments).
For Imports: Negotiate competitive rates with overseas agents.
For Exports: Liaise with the internal pricing team for accurate rates.
Prepare and send professional quotations to customers.
Maintain an organized quotation database for tracking and analysis.

Sales Backup & Customer Coordination
Act as sales backup during team absences.
Follow up on submitted quotations to convert leads to confirmed shipments.
Provide pre-sales service and resolve customer inquiries related to documentation and timelines.

Account Management & Business Development
Manage assigned in-house customer accounts.
Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts.
Build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
Review account performance and recommend improvements.

Operational Handover & Administrative Support
Coordinate handover of confirmed shipments to operations and customer service.
Maintain CRM records and prepare sales performance reports.

Systems / Tools Used:

Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint
Internal CRM / Freight Management System (training provided)

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

Number of quotations generated per month
Quote-to-win conversion ratio
Growth of in-house managed accounts
Customer satisfaction (internal & external)

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or International Business.
2-3 years experience in freight forwarding (sales support/pricing/customer service).
Knowledge of Incoterms, customs procedures, and documentation.
Excellent communication and coordination skills (Thai & English).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
Strong analytical, negotiation, and multitasking abilities.
Customer-oriented, proactive, and detail-focused.
