Role : IT Planning and Commercial Officer

  1. Location: Pasig
  2. Work setup: Hybrid (1-2 days On-site, the rest will be WFH)
  3. Shift schedule: 8am to 5pm

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the IT planning to support the development of long term strategic initiatives of
  • IT in line with Corporate goals and programs.
  • Lead the annual business plan development and budgeting process; Establish the quarterly outlook process and provide regular reports to IT LT
  • In coordination with FPH IT PMO, recommend options for IT business case justification of projects in the PMO project portfolio through identification of business value created by the IT projects
  • Develop and oversee the internal review function to ensure that finance, operation controls and policies are complied with.
  • Identify business process strengths and weaknesses and propose areas for improvement
  • Build and drive culture change to enhance commercial thinking 
  • Establish efficient contracts administration and monitoring system to ensure continuity of services of vendors to avoid disruption of company operations.
  • Participate actively in vendor selection, outsourcing and vendor management to ensure effective delivery of IT supplies and services.

Qualification Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science degree, preferably IT Graduate, Accounting, Finance or Business course.
  • 7 to 10 years work experience in: IT Governance
  • Involvement in development and implementation of IT strategy
  • Identification and successful implementation of business process improvements IT budget management
  • Expertise in COBIT, ITSM/ITIL, Lean Six Sigma
  • Knowledgeable in project management, Business Process Analysis and Design,
  • Risk Management, Budget Management and Financial Planning & Analysis
  • Knowledgeable in strategic planning, risk analysis and business justification.

Skills:

  1. Strong communication skills both written and oral. Has experience dealing with top management (preferred)
  2. Ability to influence and build consensus with IT Team, other support teams and leadership.
  3. Good presentation skills to help align IT organization with overall plans to support the business objectives background and understanding of Accounting and Financial principles, practices, and procedures
  4. Solid fundamental valuation skills in making business cases
  5. Advanced problem solving and negotiation skills.
  6. Knowledge (preferred) in the power, petroleum, energy generation, manufacturing, and/or IT sectors.
