General Description:

  • The Senior Sales Consultant role will be responsible for leading the program strategy, development, and implementation of the Sales L&D approach.
  • They should demonstrate a record of strategic thinking and ability to maintain focus on big picture development while also participating in the development of key tactics to execute the L&D program.
  • Ideally the Senior Sales Consultant has a proven sales record and has demonstrated the ability to strategically sell and implement effective business development efforts.
  • If the candidate has not been in a selling role then they should demonstrate understanding of the company's sales process and have empathy for the selling experience.
  • The Senior Sales Consultant will be expected to network, gain feedback, and connect with people at all levels and in all roles of the organization.
  • They should be able to find opportunities to partner and collaborate to move forward the goals of Sales L&D.
  • Must work closely with and program manage the FSE Consultant on development of program and content.

Additionally, employees are expected to abide by all internal control & compliance practices to:

  • Ensure segregation of duties to minimize fraud.
  • Comply with business ethics, applicable laws and regulations.
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
  • Periodically reconcile physical assets to accounting records.

Skills/Abilities

  • Has a high level of AQ Adaptability Quotient. This role will need to adapt to the changing needs of sales learning
  • Creative thinking must think big picture about the development of programs and not rely on what was done in the past (if internal).
  • Must demonstrate problem solving approaches.
  • Must be willing to develop detail-oriented tactics and content as well as execute on training content by way of facilitation and demonstration
  • Must have demonstrated ability to build a strong network within company regions, leadership, HR, Brandcom, Marketing, Finance, Sales support teams
  • Self-starter mentality and the ability to own and manage projects and timelines.
  • Must also hold team members accountable to timelines and action within the project scope
  • The ability to lead by influence is key to this role.
  • Able to identify needs, prioritize, and develop actions based on strategic priorities.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong planning and organizing skills.
  • Solid understanding of the company Sales and Dealer organizations.

General office environment with frequent (60%) travel required.

Qualifications

Education/Experience

  • Bachelors degree required (Business, Communications, Adult Education or related)
  • Minimum 5-7+ years of sales or learning experience
