About the job Senior Executive/ Assistant Manager - Logistics & Homologation - Thailand
Job Purpose:
The Logistics and Sales Forecasting resource for Thailand CKD & CBU will manage the inbound and outbound logistics of the CKD plant including warehouse management and stock reconciliation. The incumbent will work with the sales team to collect the order from the dealers, analyze and create monthly indents. The incumbent will forecast the sales demand and work with internal teams in meeting the demand requirements.
The incumbent will work with cross functional internal teams, external agencies and Government bodies for ensuring on time completion of activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation in local and overseas plus customer services related to CKD operations.
- Responsible to keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
- Coordinate and control the order cycle through internal procurement process
- Collaborate with dealers and sales teams in predicting the sales and ensure bike availability at all dealerships, nationwide.
- Monitor the dealers adherence to orders and adjust indent accordingly.
- Matching direct shift from assembly to dealer warehouse which is under cost control strategy
- Managing warehouse operations completely by working with Royal Enfield stakeholders and logistics and warehouse agencies.
- Responsible for evaluating performance, quality and to plan improvements
- Maintain metrics and analyze data related to performance and efficiency of improvement plans.
- Liaise and negotiate with logistic company and vendors
- Adhere to cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets
- Comply with local country laws and regulations related to these operations.
- Process and work for customs deduction and homologation process.
Import and export documentation preparation process
Network and stakeholder:
Internal Stakeholder: Cross-functional teams - Sales, Logistics, Finance in Thailand, Central Logistics and Warehouse functions in India. And Legal department.
External Stakeholder: Government agencies and other external agencies
Experience:
- Adequate knowledge on shipment, documentation & inventory management with 5-6 years experience in large and reputed automobile companies.
- You can handle/negotiate shipping /logistical issues and customs valuation.
- Strong functional background, awareness of legislation in the country.
- Self-motivated, result oriented, have the ability to manage ambiguity, ability to work with diverse teams spread across geography.
- You have excellent communication skills with fluency in English.
- Demonstrated experience in planning, coordination and organizational skills
