About the job Regional Finance Manager

Budget : 16,000 MYR excluding oversea allowance 

Working hours : Monday Friday at 8.30 a.m. 5.30 p.m.

Location : The candidate can choose to be based in Thailand permanently but be willing to travel back to Malaysia for meetings or short-term assignments lasting 1-2 weeks every quarter. Alternatively, they can be based in Thailand for 1-2 years and then move to the HQ

  • TH : Ladkrabang District, Bangkok
  • MY (HQ) : Perak Darul Ridzuan, Malaysia

Interview process : 1 - 2 rounds, face-to-face or online interview

Responsibilities :

  • Lead and supervise finance team.
  • Prepare and monitor financial forecast activities, cash flow, annual budget, inventory management, warehousing, and report on variance analysis.
  • Ensure timely submission of documents to regulatory bodies and financial are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures
  • Management of monthly closing process of all entities within the group and review of monthly financial reporting pack, improve the month end closing process and implement system of internal control.
  • Coordinate yearly financial audit exercise and liaison with overseas colleagues.
  • Ensure full compliance with all relevant overseas tax requirements in term of payments and reporting.
  • Report to CFO (Malaysian) and manage 9 subordinates which invoicing: 3 pax, AR: 2 pax, and Internal Auditing: 4 pax (All Thai)

Qualifications :

  • Malaysian single candidate and age is around 35 45 years old (prefer male candidate)
  • Possess Accounting diploma, degree or equivalent qualification, preferably with qualified professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, MIA)
  • Possess minimum 5 years of work experience in managerial position with direct responsibility in financial reporting, operation and treasury function from retail or FMCG industry
  • Strong commercial finance and hands-on work experience
  • Hold membership of Malaysia Institute of Accountants
  • Able to converse and write in English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Strong leadership skills and highly analytical and has appreciation for details
  • Able to meet tight deadlines.
  • Willing to travel to South East Asia countries frequently.
