Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced General Manager (Sales) with a strong background in the pet food chemical sales industry to lead our sales team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing new business opportunities, and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers. The General Manager will leverage their existing experience and customer database, as well as the provided customer database, to effectively sell our pet food chemicals to pet food manufacturers.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement sales strategies and plans to achieve company sales targets in the pet food chemical sales industry.
2. Identify and pursue new business opportunities by prospecting and generating leads within the assigned industrial sector.
3. Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders at pet food manufacturing companies.
4. Utilize existing customer database and the provided customer database to identify potential customers and drive sales growth.
5. Conduct market research and analysis to stay updated on industry trends, competition, and key players in the pet food chemical sales industry.
6. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective sales collateral, presentations, and promotional materials.
7. Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and analysis to the executive team, highlighting achievements, challenges, and opportunities.
8. Lead and motivate the sales team, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure their success in meeting sales targets.
9. Attend industry trade shows, conferences, and events to network, build relationships, and promote our pet food chemicals.
10. Stay updated on product knowledge, industry regulations, and market trends related to pet food chemicals.

Qualifications and Experience:
1. Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, with a focus on the pet food chemical industry.
3. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving sales growth.
4. Existing experience in the assigned industrial sector and a strong customer database.
5. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
7. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
8. Proficiency in using CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales tools.
9. Knowledge of pet food manufacturing processes and regulations is a plus.
10. Must travel as required to meet with customers and attend industry events.
