Application Support Analyst
About the job Application Support Analyst
Responsibilities:
- Providing Application maintenance for company's Core business application, by becoming an expert on all aspects of these systems.
- Delivering support to existing business users and investigating and resolving application errors.
- Establish Test cases for application testing when new build or patches applied.
- Responsible for Application Testing for enhancement of existing modules and also for new modules.
- Working with the Business Teams and Business Process Teams in identifying and proposing application system changes, better users, enhancements and developments and liaising with appropriate in-house development and vendor development teams and also be responsible for communicating with users.
- Able to generate ad-hoc reports as and when required by business users.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering or related
- Minimum 3 years of experience in programming especially PL/SQL
- Good knowledge of Oracle Database.
- Extensive knowledge of Query scripts and Procedures.
- Strong analytical and problem skill, also knowns of problem statement and decision making
- Knowledge of extensive analysis to do to understand what needs to happen and what needs to do next step.
