About the job Application Support Analyst

Responsibilities:

  1. Providing Application maintenance for company's Core business application, by becoming an expert on all aspects of these systems.
  2. Delivering support to existing business users and investigating and resolving application errors.
  3. Establish Test cases for application testing when new build or patches applied.
  4. Responsible for Application Testing for enhancement of existing modules and also for new modules.
  5. Working with the Business Teams and Business Process Teams in identifying and proposing application system changes, better users, enhancements and developments and liaising with appropriate in-house development and vendor development teams and also be responsible for communicating with users.
  6. Able to generate ad-hoc reports as and when required by business users.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering or related
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in programming especially PL/SQL
  • Good knowledge of Oracle Database.
  • Extensive knowledge of Query scripts and Procedures.
  • Strong analytical and problem skill, also knowns of problem statement and decision making
  • Knowledge of extensive analysis to do to understand what needs to happen and what needs to do next step.
