ADI is hiring on behalf of our client, a family tourist destination in Samarinda, that offers various attractions. The first is the natural attraction, often referred to as the 'Lungs of the City,' designed to fulfill your need for clean oxygen and fresh air. Inside, it is adorned with a variety of trees such as ulin trees, fruit trees, and unique ornamental plants.
Job Descriptions
- Develop diverse and innovative menus incorporating Western, Indonesian, and Chinese cuisines.
- Collaborate with management to create seasonal and special event menus.
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to quality standards.
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain proper stock levels.
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support.
- Train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques, menu items, and safety procedures.
- Provide ongoing coaching to enhance skills and performance.
- Coordinate with other departments for special events and catering functions.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a culinary role, with at least 3 years in a leadership position.
- Willing to work in Samarinda
- Proven experience in cooking Western, Indonesian, and Chinese cuisines.
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, inventory management, and menu planning.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations.
- Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus.
- Up-to-date knowledge of food trends and industry best practices.
