About the Role:

Our client is setting up a greenfield manufacturing plant in Rayong and is looking for a dynamic and experienced Head of Supply Chain to lead and establish end-to-end supply chain operations. This is a strategic leadership role that requires expertise in building teams, processes, and systems from scratch while ensuring operational excellence and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Supply Chain Strategy & Execution

• Develop and implement the overall supply chain strategy in alignment with business objectives.

• Set up processes, systems, and best practices for efficient supply chain management.

• Ensure cost-effective, timely, and reliable movement of materials and finished goods.

Logistics & Distribution

• Oversee inbound and outbound logistics, ensuring smooth material flow and on-time delivery.

• Optimize transportation, freight, and distribution networks to minimize costs.

• Collaborate with suppliers, transport partners, and internal stakeholders for seamless operations.

Procurement & Purchasing

• Establish procurement policies, supplier selection, and contract negotiations.

• Build strong relationships with local and international vendors to ensure cost, quality, and supply reliability.

• Drive supplier performance management to optimize lead times and cost efficiencies.

Warehousing & Inventory Management

• Design and implement warehouse and inventory control processes for optimal stock management.

• Ensure proper storage, handling, and tracking of raw materials and finished goods.

• Implement lean inventory management techniques to reduce waste and excess stock.

Team Building & Leadership

• Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing supply chain team from the ground up.

• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and operational excellence.

• Implement and monitor KPIs to drive team performance and efficiency.

Key Requirements:

10+ years of experience in end-to-end supply chain management, preferably in a greenfield or startup environment.
Strong expertise in logistics (inbound & outbound), procurement, warehousing, and inventory control.
Experience in setting up supply chain processes, systems, and teams from scratch.
Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing or industrial setup.
Strong knowledge of ERP systems, inventory management tools, and logistics software.
Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and evolving work environment.
Thai-speaking candidates preferred; fluency in English is required.
