**Position: Account Manager**

**Location:** Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia

**Industry:** Engineering Product Supplier

**Roles & Responsibilities:**

- Develop, promote, and drive sales for the companys range of products, including acquiring new business and managing existing accounts in Malaysia.

- Handle customer inquiries related to MRO/OEM and projects.

- Coordinate with internal teams for quotations, customer orders, logistics, and quality assurance while facilitating communication with customers.

- Promote a diverse range of products from multiple suppliers.

- Stay informed about market trends, potential opportunities, and threats.

- Apply effective sales strategies to persuade potential and existing customers using technical knowledge.

- Manage customer and principal expectations to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.

- Oversee the sales team, including recruitment, development, and management to achieve targets and revenue goals.

- Ensure assigned customers achieve yearly goals and budget targets.

- Be available for outstation travel on short notice.

- Provide regular sales activity updates and presentations to your immediate supervisor.

- Implement business strategies and sales plans formulated by the management.

- Adhere to all company safety standards and corporate compliance guidelines.

- Perform other duties or projects as assigned by your immediate supervisor.

**Requirements:**

- Diploma in Engineering/Mechanical or related discipline (minimum).

- At least 5 years of experience in selling engineering products to industries such as OEM, MRO, and general contractors.

- Proficient in computer applications, with excellent communication and presentation skills.

- Strong sales and negotiation skills.

- A results-driven, team-oriented, self-starter with the ability to work independently and lead a team to meet business objectives.

- Knowledge of mechanical engineering products is an added advantage.

- Enthusiastic, independent, motivated, and a good team player who is result-oriented and customer-focused.

- Willingness to travel and relocate if necessary.

- Valid driving license and own transport required.
