We are seeking a talented and experienced IT Project Management to join our dynamic team and play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust in-house systems for our life insurance operations. Our project framework will be consisting of mix waterfall and agile method.

Role and Responsibility:

The role and responsibilities of an IT Project Management Program Manager for our Core Insurance System Replacement Project which are crucial for the successful planning, execution, and completion of technology-related around the core business of our life insurance as details below:

1. Project Planning:

o Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.

o Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets.

o Identify and allocate resources needed for the project.

o Assess potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.

2. Team Leadership:

o Assemble project teams with the necessary skills and expertise.

o Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members.

o Expected to be hands-on to support the team members.

o Foster collaboration and communication among team members.

3. Stakeholder Management:

o Identify and engage stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

o Communicate project progress, status, and issues to stakeholders.

o Manage stakeholder expectations and address concerns.

o Ensure alignment between project goals and stakeholder needs.

4. Project Execution:

o Monitor and track project progress against the plan.

o Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and budget.

o Resolve issues and conflicts that arise during project execution.

o Ensure that project tasks are completed on time and within budget.

5. Quality Assurance:

o Establish quality standards and metrics for project deliverables.

o Conduct regular quality reviews and inspections.

o Implement quality assurance processes to ensure compliance with standards.

o Address any quality issues or deficiencies identified during the project.

6. Risk Management:

o Identify potential risks and uncertainties that may impact the project.

o Assess the likelihood and impact of identified risks.

o Develop risk mitigation and contingency plans.

o Monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle.
7. Communication and Reporting:
o Facilitate regular project meetings and status updates.
o Communicate project goals, objectives, and expectations to team members.
o Prepare and distribute project status reports to stakeholders.
o Ensure that project documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
8. Budget and Cost Management:
o Develop and manage project budgets.
o Track project expenses and expenditures.
o Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiencies.
o Ensure that the project is delivered within the approved budget.
9. Closure and Evaluation:
o Conduct project post-mortems to evaluate project performance.
o Document lessons learned and best practices for future projects.
o Close out the project and ensure that all deliverables are accepted.
o Transition the project deliverables to the appropriate stakeholders or operations team.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is often.
-Proven experience as an IT Project Management, preferably within the insurance industry.
-Strong knowledge of project management methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile, Scrum or Lean is valuable, depending on the organization's preferences and project requirements.
-Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills are essential for IT project managers to effectively lead project teams and deliver successful outcomes.
-Familiarity with relevant technologies, systems, and tools commonly used in IT project management, such as project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Trello), collaboration tools, version control systems, and issue tracking systems.
-Familiarity with insurance industry standards and regulations.
-Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
-IT project managers should stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies through continuous learning and professional development activities such as workshops, seminars, conferences, and online courses.
-Ability to work collaboratively in a team and influence stakeholders at all levels.
-Proficiency in modeling tools and software development monitoring and controlling principles.
-Experience in Financial processes and functions are advantage
Interview Process: 1 or 2 round with SVP Operation and HR
