COUNTRY SALES MANAGER (Indian only)
About the job COUNTRY SALES MANAGER (Indian only)
Main Duties:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, including shippers, logistics partners, and vendor
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies and plans to expand the company's presence in the country
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with key clients, ensuring competitiveness and profitability
- Understand client needs and provide tailored freight forwarding solutions that align with their business objectives
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns that support business development initiatives.
- Responsible for overall profitability of the companys P&L.
- Coordinate with Regional International Business Head for reporting Business plan /P&L & MIS reporting
- Coordination with inhouse Operations Team for day-to-day operations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, International Trade, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- Min 12-15 years of Sales Experience in OCEAN/SEA Freight Forwarding / Shipping or NVOCC Industry is Must
- Strong Communication skills ability to conduct corporate meetings and executive presentations with C level positions.
- Strong PC skills with experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint & Outlook
- Strong understanding of international shipping, freight forwarding services, and logistics operation
- Good in English
