About the Role:

Our client, a leading global mobile device company, is seeking a dynamic and driven Regional Retail Manager to oversee and drive the retail strategy across Southeast Asia. This role is critical to enhancing retail execution, optimizing store performance, and ensuring world-class customer experiences through efficient position planning, retail sandbox development, and display management.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Retail Sandbox Management

  • Lead the implementation of the Retail Sandbox model across Southeast Asian markets.

  • Guide and support country teams and retail agents in optimizing retail investment strategies aligned with local market dynamics.

  • Drive adoption of sandbox standards to ensure consistency in experience and performance.

2. Position Construction & Store Development

  • Promote the rollout and setup of various retail positions (e.g., shop-in-shop, experience zones, flagship areas).

  • Track construction progress across markets and coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery and setup.

  • Manage and audit position assets, ensuring agents regularly input and update store data in internal systems.

3. Display Standards & Retail Execution

  • Develop and adapt display standards tailored for Southeast Asia's unique market preferences.

  • Refresh and localize display guidelines for new product launches, ensuring sampling and visual merchandising meet brand expectations.

  • Enforce a closed-loop inspection process to ensure consistency and quality in-store execution across the region.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Retail Management, or related field.

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in retail management, preferably in the mobile device, electronics, or FMCG sectors.

  • Proven track record in multi-country retail operations, especially within Southeast Asia.

  • Strong experience in managing store setups, supplier coordination, and retail execution.

  • Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin) This is a mandatory requirement for this role.

  • Additional regional language skills are a plus.
