Work Location: Thailand (Chonburi/Laem Chabang Industrial Estate)

Reports to: Financial Director/Thailand General Manager


Job Responsibilities

BOI Management

Manage the maintenance of BOI benefits (e.g., review of tax-exempt equipment import lists, corporate income tax exemption applications), ensuring 100% compliance with BOI commitment conditions (e.g., investment amount, local employee hiring ratio).


Policy Research and Compliance Implementation

Monitor real-time updates on Thailand's BOI policies (e.g., the 2023新版7-year Investment Promotion Strategy) and provide optimization suggestions for investment incentives to management.

Coordinate with legal and finance departments to complete BOI compliance reviews, mitigating risks of benefit cancellation due to project delays or equity changes.


Government and Cross-Department Collaboration

Act as the company's representative to liaise with Thai government agencies such as the Board of Investment (BOI), Ministry of Industry, and Customs, establishing long-term communication mechanisms.

Support policy interpretation between China headquarters and Thai subsidiaries, and lead bilingual (Chinese-Thai) BOI training sessions (e.g., customs duty-free procedures, foreign employee quota rules).


Post-Investment Management Support

Manage BOI annual report submissions, audit coordination, and benefit renewal applications.

Assist in handling BOI-related matters such as land purchase/leasing and environmental permits (EIA) for BOI enterprises.


Qualifications

Hard Requirements:

Thai nationality, aged 28-40, with a bachelor's degree or higher in Economics, Law, International Trade, or Engineering.

Proficiency in Chinese: Ability to communicate freely and independently draft bilingual (Chinese-Thai) government documents and conduct business negotiations.

Minimum 3 years of hands-on BOI experience in Thailand, having led at least 2 BOI project applications in manufacturing/new energy/digital industries.


Professional Competencies:

In-depth knowledge of the entire BOI application process (e.g., target industry code matching, Appendix 5.1 form completion), with familiarity with EEC special incentive policies.

Mastery of Thailand's Foreign Business Act (FBA), customs regulations, and foreign exchange control rules (e.g., profit repatriation procedures for BOI enterprises).

Possession of BOI official training certifications (e.g., BOI Certificate) or international investment promotion qualifications (e.g., IISL) is preferred.


Soft Skills:

Strong government public relations skills, with a deep understanding of Thailand's bureaucratic system.

Skilled in managing multiple tasks under high-pressure environments and adapting to the differing work rhythms of China and Thailand.
