Data Center Extra-Low Voltage Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for data center Extra-Low Voltage system detail design, drawing and material submission
  • Take charge of onsite technical guidance and troubleshooting, pass the practical acceptance test, including equipment functional test, integration system test and PAC sign-off
  • Be responsible for the Extra-Low Voltage system construction fully comply with design
  • Be responsible for the project delivery with good quality and within timeline
  • Assist technical director and project manager manage the whole project

Position requirements

  • Bachelor degree or above in Extra-Low Voltage Engineering or related discipline
  • Have experience in Extra-Low Voltage system design in design institutes, consulting companies, integrators, and equipment factories.
  • Large-scale data center (over 500 racks) Extra-Low Voltage system design or project management experiences are highly appreciated
  • Those with overseas Extra-Low Voltage design experience are highly appreciated.
  • Strong communication, presentation, listening, and negotiation skills.
  • Good team work, good adversity quotient, adaptable to challenges and pressures
  • Open minded, good interpersonal skills with excellent communication skills in multi-culture organizations
  • Willing to travel in Global, especially Asia-Pacific Region

Professional Knowledge

  • Have a basic command of the design principles of the integrated cabling, access control, CCTV, and power and environment monitoring systems.
  • Be able to design and draw Extra-Low Voltage systems.
  • Be familiar with the design standards of the Extra-Low Voltage systems.
  • Certified Extra-Low Voltage Engineer and Uptime ATD/ATS qualification are preferred.

  • ATD(Accredited Tier Designer)by UPTIME Institute
  • CDCP(Certified Data Centre Professional)by EPI.
  • Chartered Engineer in Extra-Low Voltage
