Interview Rounds & Mode

  1. 1st Round: Pre-screen via phone

  2. 2nd Round: Interview with Team Leader

  3. Final Round: Face-to-face with Country Manager (same day)

  4. Additional: Possibly an online interview with Indian Team Lead, if required

Reporting & Office Location

  • Reporting To: Country Manager

  • Office Location: Freezone Airport, KPN Tower. Weekly meetings every Monday

  • Team Size: 1 person

  • CRM/Sales Tools Used: Internal Sales System

Role Overview
The Sales Executive Air Freight is responsible for driving business growth through acquiring new customers, maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, and providing tailored air freight solutions. This role requires strong market knowledge, negotiation skills, and excellent customer service to achieve sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Business Development

    • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the air freight market

    • Actively generate new leads and convert prospects into customers

    • Conduct sales visits, presentations, and negotiations with clients

  2. Customer Management

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers

    • Understand customer needs and provide suitable air freight solutions

    • Follow up on quotations, pricing, and service inquiries to secure bookings

  3. Sales Activities & Target Achievement

    • Achieve assigned sales revenue and volume targets

    • Prepare and present sales reports, pipelines, and forecasts

    • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback

  4. Coordination & Operations Support

    • Coordinate with internal teams (Air Import/Export Operations, Customer Service, Pricing)

    • Ensure smooth shipment handling and problem resolution for customers

    • Follow company procedures for pricing, credit control, and documentation

  5. Pricing & Quotation

    • Work closely with the Pricing team to obtain competitive rates

    • Prepare quotations and proposals with accurate cost structures

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Logistics, International Trade, or related field

  • Knowledge of operations and market intelligence, including airline pricing by sector

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Freight Forwarding or Logistics (Air Freight preferred)

  • Strong understanding of air freight products, airlines, routes, and market rates

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

  • Ability to work independently and under pressure with strong result orientation

  • Proficiency in English and Microsoft Office
