About the job TIG & ARC Welder

We are looking for Welder capable of doing fit-ups and welding metal pressure vessels based on construction drawings provided, able to understand the welding specifications (WPS), and welding symbols, using techniques that adhere to all specifications for vessels, piping, and welding assembly based on ASME/PED or other related codes stated in the design criteria.

Skills & Expertise Required:

  • Capable of welding multiple metallurgies, including carbon steel, low alloy steel, stainless steel, duplex/super duplex, and nickel-based alloys.
  • Proficient in TIG (GTAW), SMAW, and MIG (GMAW) welding processes for pressure-retaining applications.
  • Able to weld in all positions (1G–6G), including overhead, vertical, and confined-space welds.
  • Strong experience in welding long seams, circumferential seams, nozzles, and reinforcement pads for pressure vessels.
  • Skilled in overlay welding, and precision weld repairs where required.
    Thorough understanding of WPS/PQR, welding symbols, and engineering fabrication drawings.
  • Experience working with thick wall vessels, high-pressure components, and heat exchanger weld joints.
  • Familiar with NDE acceptance criteria (RT, UT, PT, MT) and maintaining weld quality to meet inspection requirements.
  • Physically fit, with strong vision, hand–eye coordination, and ability to work in elevated areas or enclosed spaces.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in pressure vessel welding within a heavy fabrication or manufacturing environment.

Qualifications:

  • ITI /Certificate in Welding and Metal Fabrication Technology
  • Must possess Welding 6G certification
  • 5 years of related experience
