Support Specialist - Credit Risk (English and Spanish speaker)

In the heart of Spain (Madrid) you'll join forces with dedicated professionals in the FinTech, working on exciting projects within a global, multi-cultural, ever-developing, and successful business that aims to improve financial services for families, small businesses, multinational corporations, and non-profit organizations

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Join a dynamic team of credit risk specialists, contributing to the investigation and analysis of credit information within established guidelines.
• Contact customers to determine the reason for payment delays and secure payment commitments, making non-routine outbound calls that may require deviation from standard procedures, screens, and scripts.
• Adapt your approach based on customer responses and confidently handle complex situations with a problem-solving mindset.
• Conduct extensive research and use a computerized system for tracking, information gathering, and troubleshooting to ensure effective collections.
• Respond to customer inquiries, resolve problems, and provide appropriate solutions.
• Develop and implement best practices for collections, ensuring adherence to company standards and efficiency in processes.

WHAT WE EXPECT:

• At least 1 year of experience in finance, accounting, risk management or financial collections. Experience from international financial institution would be considered as a huge advantage
• Strong proficiency in English and Spanish (B2 level and above).
• The role demands assertiveness, advanced problem-solving abilities, emotional intelligence, and multitasking skills.
• Punctuality, motivation, self-sufficiency, and a proactive mindset are critical for thriving in a high-achieving team.
