WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Ensure the security of information systems and registries.
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities in information systems and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor security systems for potential threats and respond to security incidents as they arise.
  • Implement and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures to safeguard sensitive information.
  • Conduct security awareness training for employees and stakeholders to promote best practices.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure system configurations and updates.
  • Manage access controls and user permissions to maintain data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Stay updated on the latest security trends, threats, and technology to enhance the organizations security posture.
  • Document security incidents and create reports for management and compliance purposes.
  • WHAT WE EXPECT:

    • A minimum of 3 years of experience in securing information systems or registries, specifically in the role of an Information Systems Security Specialist.
    • Proven ability to conduct risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities in information systems and develop effective mitigation strategies.
    • Experience monitoring security systems for potential threats and responding to security incidents promptly.
    • Knowledge of implementing and maintaining security policies, standards, and procedures to protect sensitive information.
    • Ability to conduct security awareness training for employees and stakeholders to promote best practices in security.
    • Experience collaborating with IT teams to ensure secure system configurations and updates.
    • Skills in managing access controls and user permissions to ensure data integrity and confidentiality.
    • Fluent Lithuanian language skills are required.

    Additional Information:

    • The development of information systems or registries involves creating new systems or registries or modernizing, developing, or expanding existing ones, which may include adding new functionalities or modifying established information processing procedures.
    • Maintenance or support of information systems or registries, which only covers error correction and troubleshooting, is not included in this definition.

    WHAT WE OFFER:

    Salary ranges (for employees in Lithuania only): 2800 - 3900 gross (the given range is flexible and depends on your experience).
