Job Description:

We are searching for a compassionate and skilled Licensed Marriage and

Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our dedicated team in Eagle River,

Alaska. In this role, you will be at the forefront of providing

client-focused therapy that supports individuals, couples, and families

in navigating their unique challenges. Your expertise will be key in

guiding clients toward healthier relationships and improved mental health.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough assessments to understand clients' needs, strengths,

and goals.

Create and implement customized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based

therapeutic approaches.

Offer ongoing therapy sessions addressing various issues, including

relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression, trauma, and life

transitions.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists,

psychologists, social workers, and case managers, to ensure

comprehensive care.

Maintain precise clinical documentation, ensuring compliance with

ethical and legal standards.

Participate in supervision, team meetings, and professional development

to refine your skills and stay current with best practices.

Engage in outreach and community education to promote mental health

awareness and broaden service access.

Qualifications:

Master's or doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling

Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

At least 2 years of clinical experience providing therapy in a mental

health or behavioral health setting.

Proficiency in conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and

delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to

work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

A strong commitment to cultural competence, diversity, and inclusion in

clinical practice.

Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic

computer skills.
