Job Overview:


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Practitioner Family to join our team. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality, evidence-based care to our patients. You will be responsible for managing a diverse range of patient cases, including wellness exams, acute and chronic illnesses, and preventive care. Responsibilities:


- Conduct comprehensive health assessments, including physical exams, medical history review, and diagnostic testing.


- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, such as infections, injuries, and diabetes.


- Prescribe medication and develop treatment plans in accordance with evidence-based guidelines.


- Provide counseling and education to patients and their families on disease management, preventive care, and healthy lifestyle choices.


- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care for patients.


- Perform minor medical procedures, such as suturing, wound care, and administering injections.


- Document patient care accurately and thoroughly in electronic medical records.


- Educate patients on medication adherence and potential side effects.


- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.


- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.


Requirements:


- Current and valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of CA


- Master's degree in nursing


- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a Family Practice setting.


- Current DEA and BLS certifications.


- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.


- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.


- Knowledge of electronic medical records and experience with documentation.


- Passion for providing compassionate and patient-centered care.


- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
