About the Job
Our esteemed client, a supplier of industrial and construction consumables in New Zealand, is looking for an Internal Account Manager. You will be responsible for developing and executing effective sales strategies to expand our customer base and maximize revenue from existing clients. Your primary focus will be building strong customer relationships, identifying sales opportunities, keeping close contact with your customers, and ensuring they are aware of their Internal Sales contact for price, availability, and product requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage assigned customer accounts to maximize sales through cross-selling and upselling opportunities.
- Provide customers with accurate and timely quotations.
- Maintain regular contact with buyers and key decision-makers to build strong relationships.
- Monitor customer buying patterns to identify potential drop-offs and proactively address them.
- Collaborate with External Account Managers to drive growth for jointly managed accounts.
- Actively pursue new business and bring new accounts on board while maintaining and expanding existing relationships.
- Conduct approximately 30 proactive, meaningful customer engagements daily, primarily via phone.
Qualifications:
- With at least 3-5 years of experience as an Internal Sales Manager.
- Strong experience in upselling and cross-selling is required.
- Must have B2B, end-to-end sales, and closing sales experience.
- A customer-focused attitude, willing to go the extra mile to assist customers.
- Enthusiastic and a team player with a collaborative mindset.
- Strong interpersonal and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently.
- Driven to achieve sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Willing to work in Ortigas, Pasig.
