Deputy Chief, Treasury Operations Settlement

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Section Chief in supervising the team's daily operations and ensuring all processing transactions are complied with regulatory requirements
• Responsible for operations of Treasury Settlement(FX/MM, Fixed Income, Derivatives and Interbank Fund Transfer), Remittance and SWIFT
• Ensure operations are smooth, efficient and effective to settle all the deals promptly and accurately by following the guidelines of AML/CFT measures
• Monitor treasury deals to ensure the guidelines of HKMA are followed for reporting OTC Derivative transactions
• Participate in system development projects in particular during user requirement collection, UAT, system migration and deployment
• Identify and pursue technology initiatives to reduce manual workload of all activities

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Business Administration, Finance or related fields
• At least 8 years' supervisory experience in settlement operation related to investment and treasury products, Remittance and SWIFT
• Strong leadership with good communication skills and sense of responsibility
• Able to discover and control daily operation risk
• Familiar with SWIFT Alliance and CMT
• Willing to work overtime and under pressure
• Good command of both spoken and written English
• Good at MS Office applications (Word & Excel)
