About the job Chief Executive, General Insurance (Macau)

Responsibilites:

  • Lead the Company business to achieve group objectives and brings the organization to next phase of development
  • Develop high quality business strategies and plans of the company as well as ensuring their alignment with short-term and long-term objectives of the Group
  • Oversee all operations and business activities to ensure achieving the desired results and align with the Group strategies and missions
  • Enforce adherence to legal and compliance guidelines and in-house policies to maintain the companys legality and business ethics
  • Formulate and ensure all policies, procedures and manuals in relation to front and back offices operations to ensure the operations of the company meet all latest regulatory, legal requirements and industry guidelines and practices
  • Build trust relationship with key partners and stakeholders and act as a contact point for important shareholders
  • Work closely with various departments and companies within the Group to ensure smooth operations and facilitate the efficiency of business activities to achieve targets whilst maintaining a sound control environment
  • Analyze problematic situations and occurrences and provide solutions to ensure company survival and growth
  • Maintain a deep knowledge of the markets and industry of the company

Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree or above in Finance, Banking or relevant disciplines
  • At least 8-10 years working experience at executive level with management of a substantial team, preferably gained from sizable financial institutions/insurance company
  • In-depth understanding of operational controls, workflows and regulatory requirements
  • Excellent business visionary with passion and determination to expand the business
  • Strong leadership, planning, analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Valid insurance license holder of IIQA Papers 1 & 2
  • Station in Macau
