Responsibilities:

  • Assist the supervisor(s) in handling of the daily operations pertaining to Pension Fund administration, under both ORSO and MPF regimes.
  • Process, check and approve MPF / ORSO transactions including employer applications, member enrolments, contributions, change of investment mandate and fund switching, fund re-balancing and termination processing and benefit payment.
  • Assist the supervisor(s) in the review and update of procedures and operation flows to improve operating efficiency.
  • Assist the supervisor(s) in the monitoring of the team and provide guidelines and assistance to juniors, and as trainer to new joiners.
  • Assist to prepare routine correspondence emails and letters to clients, and make follow up calls to employers / members to resolve operational issues.
  • Monitor pending transactions and check reconciliation reports to ensure follow up actions of the team are taken timely.
  • Prepare MPF / ORSO statutory reports, internal statistical reports, ORSO schemes annual filing documents and assist the supervisor(s) to reply to enquiries from the MPFA, other regulatory or governing bodies, where applicable.
  • Handle verbal and written inquiries from other internal departments and clients in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensure strict compliance with legislative requirements and control procedures.

Requirements:

  • University graduate or equivalent; candidates without such academic qualification but with over 5 years of related experience will also be considered.
  • Minimum 3 years working experience in ORSO and MPF pension fund administration
  • Knowledge of using Pension Fund Administration system (e.g. MPF Pro)
  • Good PC software knowledge and skills (e.g. MS Word and Excel)
  • Good command in BOTH spoken and written English and Chinese
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Candidates with less experience will be considered for Assistant Officer
