We are looking for experienced Groundwork Supervisors to join our clients team in Scotland on a full-time, permanent basis. This role will involve supervising groundwork teams, ensuring high-quality workmanship, and managing day-to-day site operations efficiently and effectively.

You must also be willing to travel between sites as required.

Key Duties:

  • Supervising and coordinating groundwork teams to ensure efficient site operations.
  • Managing all aspects of groundwork projects, including drainage, baes, foundations, and excavation.
  • Organising plant, materials, and equipment for the work.
  • Working to project programmes and deadlines.
  • Ensuring health and safety regulations are adhered to at all times.
  • Carrying out quality checks to maintain high standards of workmanship.

Personal Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in groundwork operations.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods and health & safety regulations.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
  • SSSTS/SMSTS required.
  • CSCS required.
  • CPCS/NPORS Excavator (above and below 10 tonnes) and Dumper/Roller ticket advantageous.
  • First Aid at Work advantageous.
